For Easter 2012 we are pleased to be showing The Print Collection by Intoart from 3 April – 5 May 2012.  Composed of thirteen limited edition linocut and screen prints, The Print Collection will be launched at Peckham Space alongside other artworks and performances by members of the Intoart collective.

Throughout the exhibition, Peckham Space will be running a series of free Art Club workshops on 5, 7, 10, 12 and 14 April 2012 taking the artworks in the exhibition as inspiration. Please check online nearer the time for details and times.

Each print in The Print Collection originates from the thirteen artists’ own studio practice, based at Studio Voltaire in South London. The collection has been editioned at Camberwell College of Arts where Intoart developed practice-based projects with undergraduate students for a year leading up to the exhibition.This exhibition will be a set of limited edition screen prints made by Intoart members at the near by Camberwell College of Arts.

Ruth Alemanyehu, Ntiense Eno-Amooquaye, Anne-Mary Cranmer, Selina Helene, Kevin Jacobs, Mawuena Kattah, Deji Ojoye, Sean McManus, Doreen McPherson, Philomena Powell, Lisa Trim, Andre Williams and Clifton Wright.

Intoart is a London-based art collective. Intoart’s organisational model as a collective, that includes people with learning disabilities, means that alongside the studio practice of working independently, decisions are also made together in the development of Intoart’s ongoing programme. They develop exhibitions, public events and publishing through external collaborations with curators, writers and artists. Founded by three artists in 2001, the collective has grown to include a further fifteen artists.

The Print Collection was funded by Arts Council England and Esmee Fairbairn Foundation. Supported by Camberwell College of Arts Widening Participation Department and Lambeth Rathbone.
